Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub (American actress actor, comedian, activist) is a comedian. After emigrating to America her birthplace was in the Soviet Union to Jewish parents. Her first professional work was as an actor for children. In AT&T television commercials, she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 until 2016 and into until 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not her only activity she did. She was also a part of the Yahoo! Screen science fiction comedy Other Space (2015) and had a recurring role in the NBC drama This Is Us (2016-2017). Vayntrub is also the voice of Squirrel girl in Marvel Rising since 2018, after she was cast in the unaired television pilot New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. When she was two years old her parents and she relocated to the U.S. as refugees to avoid antisemitism and settled in West Hollywood. She started acting in Mattel Barbie commercials at the age of five, due to the family's financial troubles. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School. However, she quit the school in her sophomore year. She earned an GED and obtained an undergraduate degree in Arts (Communication) from the University of California San Diego. She studied improv comedy with the Upright Citizens Brigade.
