Jacques Bermon Webster I, born April 30, 1990, better known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is a popular American rapper and singer. His stage name is a tribute to the name of his favorite uncle, paired with the first name of one of his idols, Kid Cudi (whose real name is Scott Mescudi).In 2012, Scott signed his first major label contract with Epic Records and a publishing agreement with Kanye West's GOOD Music. Scott signed a record deal with Epic Records and T.I. He also signed a record agreement with Epic and T.I. Scott's first project that was full-length the mixtape Owl Pharaoh, was self-released in 2013. In 2013, Scott self-released his first full-length album, Owl Pharaoh. Then, he then followed it with Days Before Rodeo in 2014. His debut studio album, Rodeo (2015), was led by the hit track "Antidote". The album that followed entitled Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016), became his first number one album on the Billboard 200. Scott came out with an album with a name of Huncho Jack Huncho, which was released under the name Huncho Jack. His third studio album Astroworld was released to critical acclaim. The album was the source of his debut Billboard Hot 100 number 1 single, "Sicko Mode" featuring Drake. Scott's album JackBoys was released in late in 2019 by Cactus Jack Records. It was a top 10 hit on the Billboard 200. His single, "Franchise", featuring Young Thug (featuring M.I.A. ), was released. Scott was the first artist on the Hot 100 to have three songs reach number one within the span of a year.
